When my dad first told me I would be going to tutoring class, I thought it would be just another boring school. I really didn't think I needed tutoring because I really wasn't too far behind in any particular subject. On my first day, I was surprised to see how relaxed the environment was and how patient my tutor was in explaining the course I would be taking. I was enrolled in a Learning How to Learn course. This course was different from anything I had every taken. I learned how to pinpoint my learning barriers and eliminate them so I could move on with easy and confidence in all subjects. This type of instruction made me feel comfortable, not rushed, and able to ask any questions as needed until I fully understood.

I am so grateful for this type of instruction because it gave my daughter the confidence she needed and brought her grade level up at the same time. My daughter, who is in 6th grade, was failing math. She was tutored for an hour during normal school hours and after school. Her grades never seemed to improved until I enrolled her in LEAP, Inc. After her pre-assessment it was determined she was operating at 2nd grade in math and needed remediation. In less then a month her math level increased, and her confidence boosted. My daughter learned her math facts, addition, and subtraction within six weeks. She is extremely confident and excited about learning.

My son is 9 years old and has been in special education classes since 1st grade. I had spent thousands of dollars with numerous tutoring agencies and was very reluctant to try another. A friend of mine told me what good results they received from LEAP. Their daughter learned to read in less than 30 hours. I contact LEAP and the pre-assessment showed my son reading at kindergarten level. He was tutored 3 hours on Saturdays, and in one year my son went from kindergarten reading to 6 grade.
